The wet technology for M sand production produces high-quality sand free from impurities with consistent particle size distribution. This process ensures M sand meets required specifications for construction and other applications.
Manufactured Sand Production Process
Quarrying: Extraction of suitable raw materials from quarries, including hard rocks such as granite, basalt, or limestone.
Primary Crushing: Extracted materials are crushed in a primary crusher to reduce rock size into smaller pieces.
Secondary Crushing: Crushed material undergoes further processing in a secondary crusher to achieve desired M sand particle size and shape.
Screening: Material is screened to separate required particle sizes, ensuring final M sand meets specified gradation requirements.
Washing: Crucial wet process step where crushed and screened material is washed to remove impurities such as dust, clay, and silt.
Classifying: Washed material is classified by particle size using a classifier to ensure required particle size distribution.
Dewatering: M sand is dewatered to remove excess moisture, maintaining proper moisture content in the final product.
Storage and Distribution: Final M sand product is stored in silos or stockpiles before distribution to prevent contamination and maintain quality.
